New Director of Taft-Nicholson Center
The College of Humanities is delighted to announce that Professor Mark Bergstrom has been selected as the next Director for the Taft-Nicholson Environmental Humanities Education Center. Mark will assume the Directorship starting on January 1, 2016.
Mark is an outstanding choice in every way. He is an accomplished scholar and teacher in the Department of Communication; he has extensive administrative experience here at the U, where he served with Robert Newman as Associate Dean and Acting Dean in the College of Humanities; he knows and understands the Center and watched its growth and development from the earliest stages; he is a passionate environmentalist who has a deep understanding of the landscape of the American West and Montana.
We are excited to have this opportunity to work with Mark in this capacity, and have great faith in his abilities to guide the Center towards a bright future.
